Transformation, Truth, and the Power of Presence
My Recap of Lee Harris on his December Energy Update
Author, spiritual leader, and musician Lee Harris channels the “Z’s”, his guides. Not exactly sure what that means, but I can feel the Big Love from him, and his words seem like a direct connection to divine truth.
Although healing, release, and transformation are personal to each of us in how we go through them, those are global themes that he says are currently affecting all of us during the month of December. I can surely feel that and the following eight themes he discusses in his “December Energy Update” video on YouTube resonated so deeply, I had to share them with all of you!
Theme 1: Are You Going Through Upgrades, Releases, or Both (at the same time)?
“Accelerated release is in the air for many,” Lee states, as well as: “On any given day, you might be looking at patterns in the past… and simultaneously, having new patterns coming in.” He says this can be very dizzying and that our personal practices will be the best way for us to stay grounded during this tumultuous time.
“Whatever it is that you do that connects you to You or to the ground, or that makes you feel calm, any of these practices that you can employ are going to really help… The speed of transformation … has never been so fast.” ~Lee Harris
He reiterates that rather than us just plowing through and trying to ignore what’s going on, it’s important to recognize that these are very intense energetic times. Rather than focusing on the tumultuous times in the outside world, it’s time to stop and run an internal check and become conscious of the energy inside of us and whether we are connected to our heart. Or the truest version of ourselves. Or our Highest Self. Then we can better manage this, rather than being unconscious of it and having stress or other problems arise from that. Acknowledge it and honor it with good self-care. You might feel overextended and need to cancel engagements. Or you might feel like you want to go out and have a whole new experience as the new you! You might also need to scale back and not be available to the outside world – for at least one hour a day if that’s all you can manage. We will quickly reset if we recognize that it’s time to release and allow it to pass. When we bring more awareness in, we can watch and see how simple it is to notice when things are feeling off-center, and then take steps to bring ourselves back.
Theme 2: Personal Reckoning (Pre-Global Shifts)
Are you reevaluating everything in your life or feeling the need to? [Contact me for a tool called the Wheel of Life to help you with this task!] Lee says that delving into an area in our lives like health or relationships is usually enough, but we may be looking at many more areas of our life. Some important questions might be coming up, or perhaps if you already ask these questions on a regular basis, you’re finding different answers to them: “Who are we? What do we believe our place is in this world? Why are we here?” You also may be experiencing a breakdown of things you previously enjoyed or noticing that things you identified with are no longer interesting or pleasing to you. (This is considered an ascension symptom as well.) It’s not always as simple as moving on to something else that you instantly connect or resonate with, there is usually a period in the middle where you might feel very uncomfortable and you can’t engage with other things. You may find yourself pulling away from things you knew to be true that you no longer feel connected to. This is actually a rebirth process and we’re at the very beginning, the impregnation stage, and we may be having a reckoning and readying ourselves, intuitively feeling that it’s coming and having a natural evolution. It’s a good time to evaluate how you engage with things. It might take time to get engaged with new things when you’re feeling the grief of being unengaged with things you used to love. Be gentle.
Theme 3: Light Will Feed You if You Let It
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the speed of the world? Living in a slower, more present, connected way and rehabilitating ourselves from the speed of the world is crucial. There are those of us creating a movement of being more present, modeling a slower way of living, and this helps you to reconnect to yourself. Lee states that this goes beyond daily self-care practices. Overwhelm may get you to the point where you need meditation and/or breathwork in the middle of the day. Lee suggests that it’s as simple as setting an alarm for 1-1:30 pm in the middle of the day reminding you to switch off your phone and be unavailable to the world and give yourself 30 minutes of silence. These types of practices soothe and repair, and then they start to hint at a different way of living, that could just become your new reality. We must create space and recognize the importance of these things during this time.
Theme 4: Exhausted By (and Releasing) Old Energy
This relates to old energy like; Grief, Anger, Despair, Sadness, Injustice – this release is necessary even if you feel like a victim. Your future needs you to get this out of your system so you don’t carry it with you. Releasing old, slow energy in the world – looks like a dramatic fight in the outside world. Look within to see how much you’re fighting yourself. “I always start my breakthrough when I stop fighting what’s happening,” says Lee. It may seem that these intense purging releases come at an inconvenient time, but as soon as you give in and relax, even if it’s exhausting, then things start to shift.
